| NFF Cup FormatThere will be a straight knock-out cup competition in NFF to supplement the league action. The first round will involve eight Division 2 teams chosen at random. In the second round, the other 12 NFF teams will join the four first round winners in the draw. Extra-time and penalties will be used as tie-breakers if the scores are level at full-time. The final will be played on neutral ground (home bonus in the game engine will be set to 0). It must also be said I will take every effort to avoid having teams having to face more than two home or away games in a row, in interest of fairness. NFF Cup RewardsThere is a single performance-based cash reward for performances in the NFF Cup. They are as follows: Progression | Cash | Winner | €6,000,000 | Runner-up | €4,000,000 | Semi-finalist | €2,000,000 | Quarter-finalist | €1,000,000 | Second Round | €500,000 |
Please bear in mind that payment is only made after the team is knocked out. The finalists are paid after the final is played. Teams knocked out in the first round receive no cash rewards. | |
